Finally the official UK cinema release is upon us — JUNE 7, 2018!
Our film is rolling out across over 10 cities, check out our SCREENING DATES for booking information. The higher the audience turnout, the more likely the screenings will extended over a second or third week. We have also partnered up with Our Screen for on-demand screenings. This means that anyone can not only demand a screening, but actually start the ball rolling by setting up a screening at a partner cinema near you. |
PHOENIX FILM FESTIVAL, ARIZONA
Coming in from the snowy cold to land in hot Arizona for the Phoenix Film Festival was pretty special (erm, why is everyone in shorts when we're in winter gear?).
Phoenix Film Festival was easily one of the best film festivals we've ever attended, (and this from a seasoned Cannes veteran). Filmmakers are not only treated like royalty, we also all found an incredible bond that is fostered and nurtured by PFF. And then we also won the World Cinema Audience Award for Best Documentary! Thank you Phoenix Film Festival!! Full list of awards MORE SCREENINGS |
SUN VALLEY FILM FESTIVAL, IDAHO
Last night we had the Idaho premier at the amazing Sun Valley Film Festival, which was less of a sunny but more of a snowy affair. Our very own Sun Valley local firefighter Julie Youngblood, one of the main subjects in the film, attended our premier in style: on horseback in full Mongolian outfit. And instead of the usual red carpet we went for beer in the snow. That's how we roll!

SLO FILM FESTIVAL, SAN LUIS OBISPO

Our premier screening is tonight, Friday, March 16, 2018 at 7pm. Further screenings are on Saturday at 4pm and Sunday at 1pm.

SOUTH AFRICA PREMIERE
Finally our film makes it to South Africa! We have such strong connections with this country — three of our riders in the film are South Africans — so we're thrilled that All The Wild Horses has been officially selected to the Johannesburg-based Rapid Lion Film Festival from March 3 to 10. Let's hope our film will get a few more outings in this special country! Exact screening dates to come soon!

HUGE THANK-YOUs to the HSDFF25 team, especially Jennifer Gerber who pulled off something amazing with HSDF25, and to Derek Horne and Sheryl Santacruz for the amazing programming! The festival is all set at the historical Arlington Resort, which is probably the best location for a film festival we have ever experienced!
Also a BIG THANK YOU to Devan Horn and Heather Russell who drove up from Texas to be part of the post-screening Q&A with Ivo. Devan plays a major part in the film, and Heather successfully raced the Mongol Derby in 2014.

The most beautiful setting, the most awesome festival with the best team running it. Great Q&A afterwards with Mongol Derby riders Marcia Hefker and Courtney Kizer, as well as director Ivo Marloh. We're so grateful to Jane Schoettle from Toronto's TIFF who brought the film to Aspen, and grateful to the awesome festival team of Susan, Elexa, Desiree and Regna, who were amazing. Thank you!

WORLD PREMIER AT GALWAY FILM
Saturday, July 15, 2017 we had our World Premier at the Galway Film Fleadh in Ireland. A sold-out screening with noisy reactions from the audience at every story turn and claps and cheers at the end was a huge boost to start the film off. Kate O'Toole conducted a great Q&A with director Ivo Marloh and fellow Mongol Derby riders Donie Fahy and Richard Killoran, who are two of the main characters in the film
Our film then took Best International Feature Documentary. A great start for this labour of love, with hopefully more recognition to come.
